ROYER Abogados is a boutique public law firm based in Quito. We act for regulated companies, for those that contract with the State, and for those facing a decision by an authority that affects them. We work where the relationship between the State and the company turns technical: regulatory compliance, tax, personal data, intellectual property, and constitutional and administrative litigation.
Our way of working starts from a conviction: most of a company’s legal problems are lost not for lack of arguments, but for lack of a file. That is why every service ends in a document the company can use and defend — not a report no one opens again.

For the risk we manage, not the hours we spend
In practice that means three models, and at the first meeting we tell you which one fits your case.
Annual subscription, for what recurs every year: regulatory obligations, data protection compliance, trademark portfolio, and the tax and corporate calendar. Fixed price, in three tiers.
Fixed fee per project, for what is decided once: a corporate reorganization, structuring an investment, an intangibles audit.
Fee by stage plus a variable component, for litigation. Before quoting litigation we issue a viability report: if we do not see a case, we tell you.
We do not charge for the first diagnostic conversation. You leave it with a list of findings, whether you hire us or not.
